Launching my very first digital product felt equal parts intimidating and deeply rewarding. The project is titled Watchmen on the Wall: 30-Day Guided Prayer & Intercession Journal, designed to help believers cultivate a steady prayer routine. Creating this journal was my first real test in combining digital design tools with self-publishing platforms.

From Blank Screen to Published Work

Formatting a thirty-day journal requires careful attention to line spacing, margins, and visual elegance. Using accessible design software alongside interior publishing templates, I transformed raw study notes into a clean printable layout. Every page was crafted with clear typography and soft borders so readers could focus without visual distraction.

Lessons Learned During Self Publishing

Uploading the manuscript to KDP brought a steep learning curve regarding interior bleed settings and cover size calculations. I encountered a few formatting errors during the first review pass, but resolving those issues taught me how the platform actually functions. Testing the manuscript myself proved that hands-on experience is the best teacher.

Serving Others Through Practical Resources

This journal represents more than just a completed file on my computer hard drive. It is a faith-anchored tool built to serve real people. Watching the first completed proof arrive in the mail confirmed that digital carpentry yields tangible results when you stay focused on step-by-step progress.
